In Belgorod Region investigators mark Children’s Day together with supported children

On the eve of the International Children’s Day officials of the Belgorod Region Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee visited patronized children’s home in the village of Rovenki.

The officials of the Investigations Directorate have been old friends with the inmates and teachers of the children’s home. After an agreement was signed in 2010 on helping the facility, the investigators have been visiting the children all the time. The investigators bought the children furniture and equipment for concerts. They also helped to equip a computer and sewing classes, a psychological release room. Over all those ears of cooperation the officials have been providing other help as well. They have been financing and accompanying the children to heroic and memorable places in the Belgorod and other Regions.

On the eve of the Children’s Day the investigators came to visit the children and gave them presents and a cake. The celebration began with a performance prepared by the inmates. They also demonstrated their talents by reciting poems and sang. Then the investigators congratulated the children on the end of school year, the Children’s Day and wished them happy holidays. At the same time, they talked with the children on the prevention of crimes and behavior in different situations. The inmates and the staff of the facility saw film of the Investigative Committee “Stolen Childhood”. Then there was an unofficial part of the celebration on the sports ground of the facility. The investigators and children played football and the match finished 3:3. The sport competition was continued on a volleyball court. At the end of the day there was dinner and tea party.
