In Moscow Region investigators and criminalists working on light plane crash site

On 14 June 2014, at 11:50 AM, a light plane Cicada-M owned by a commercial company went down near the Novinki airfield in the Moscow Region. The investigators and criminalists of the Moscow Interregional Transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are working at the crash site.

It is initially reported that it was a test flight from the Novinki after the assembling and that the aircraft crashed 7 km away from the takeoff spot. A 63-year-old pilot and deputy director of the company owner of the plane were killed in the crash.

At present a set of checks is underway to find out all the circumstances of the accident. The criminal investigation is being discussed.
