Alexander Bastrykin receives citizens in Moscow

Alexander Bastrykin held a personal reception of citizens on 18 June 2014 in Moscow. The Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee received 9 people, including residents of the city of Moscow, the Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Regions.

The most of complaints addressed to Mr. Bastrykin during the personal reception concerned procedural decisions made over criminal cases investigated by investigating bodies in the said regions. The cases were opened in crimes connected with starting national discord, non-administration of medical aid, as well as murders.

During the reception all citizens were received. Following the personal reception Mr. Bastrykin gave explicit orders to heads of a number of territorial investigating bodies. Progress of reviewing all accepted complaints and applications is under personal control of the Chairman.
