Investigative Committee Chairman visits children badly wounded in Donbass shelling treated in Roshal Hospital

Today Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has visited the Research Institute of Emergency Children’s Surgery and Traumatology in Moscow, where 9-year-old Vanya Voronov and 14-year-old Iksana Voynarovskaya were delivered after they had been badly wounded during Donbass shelling.

Mr. Bastrykin spoke with the children and their mothers, he asked if they had any unsettled matters that he might have helped with. The Chairman said that he was ready to help.

The children’s mothers noted sympathy of Russian people, their quick help. They are receiving many warm words of sympathy and support from different regions of Russia form different people. The women also thanked all doctors who provide their children with the most qualified and professional treatment.

In his turn, Mr. Bastrykin thanked for their selfless and professional work Leonid Roshal and doctors of the hospital, who each day save children’s lives and ease their sufferings.

Mr. Bastrykin assured the children and their parents that the Russia’s Investigative Committee will do its best to punish those guilty of children’s sufferings.
