The Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee continues an investigation opened into crimes under Part 1 of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code (Murder) and Part 1 of Article 222 (illegal circulation of firearms).

According to the investigation, in the evening of February 4, 2016, a 29-year-old who lives in an apartment building in 3rd Frunzenskaya Street in Moscow shot at a representative of a collector during the distraining in the presence of officials of the bailiffs service. The man died on the scene.

The investigators are looking into different versions of the crime, including personal a debt-induced conflict. This version seems more likely as the suspect could have killed the bailiffs as well, but did not do that.

At present, the arrested man is being questioned to find out all the details of the incident. Depending on those details the man will be charged. The investigation is ongoing.
