On 7 February 2016, in the afternoon, a dead body of a 14-year-old girl was found in Yegoza ski resort (Kyshtym). The Chelyabinsk Region authorities of the Investigative Committee have opened a criminal investigation into a crime under Part 2, item “c” of Article 238 of the RF Penal Code (Rendering services which do not meet safety standards entailing death of a person by negligence).

According to preliminary information, the victim skied down the slope, lost the track and collided with a tree suffering fatal injuries.

At present, necessary investigative operations are underway to find out all the details of the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
