In Krasnoyarsk Territory probe launched in murder of child

The Krasnoyarsk Territory Office of the Investigative Committee has opened a criminal investigation into a crime under Part 2, item “c” of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder) after a dead body of a 12-year-old boy was found in a dustbin near a block of flats in Takhanskaya Street in the city of Norilsk.

According to investigators, early in the morning the boy’s body put in a bag was found by a yard cleaner when he was sweeping the area. The boy was identified as the 12-year-old boy who had gone missing the day before. His parents reported him missing today’s morning and told that he had gone for a walk the previous afternoon and hadn’t come back.

The most experienced criminalists of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Directorate of the Investigative Committee are working at the scene. They are looking into all the details of what might have happened, questioning the boy’s relatives and friends. A forensic medical examination of the body has been assigned. The Investigation is under special control of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Directorate of the Investigative Committee.
