A court has recognized the evidence collected by the Moscow Directorate of the Investigative Committee sufficient to convict Stanislav Sobolevsky and Lev Kamenetsky. Depending on the role of each one, they were found guilty of crimes under Part 3, item “b” of Article 132 (sexual abuse), Part 3, item “b” of Article 242 (spread of pornography) and Part 1 of Article 137 of the RF Penal Code (violation of privacy).

The court and investigators have revealed that on 27 September 2015, Kamenetsky raped an 18-year-old girl in the bathroom of a night club located in Leningradsky Avenue in Moscow. His friend Sobolevsky was filming the process on his cellphone and later posted the video online.

Sexology, psychiatric, linguistic and medical forensic inquiries confirmed the guilt of the accused.

The court has sentenced Kamenetsky to 9 years in a maximum-security correctional facility, Sobolevsky to 9 years and 6 months in a maximum-security correctional facility and a fine of 100,000 rubles.
