Man wanted worldwide for long time found guilty of business fraud

A Court has recognized the evidence collected by the Moscow Inter-district Department of the Investigative Committee’s Tver Region Office sufficient to convict Boris Mazursky, former CEO of OOO EvropaMAZtsent, a limited liability. He was found guilty of a fraud in entrepreneurship on a very large scale under Part 3 of Article 159.4 of the RF Penal Code.

The court and investigators have revealed, that Mazursky was CEO of EvropaMazTsent since August 2007. The company was an official dealer of Minsk car factory in Tver Region. From June to August 2008, he concluded sales contracts for 86 MAZ vehicles worth more than 128 million rubles with OOO RTK-Vostok, a limited liability company, represented by its CEO. The full payment was transferred to the company. However, only about 33 million rubles worth of vehicles were supplied to RTK-Vostok, while the rest 94 million rubles was stolen by Mazursky.

On 3 June 2009, Mazursky was put on a wanted list. The Tver Central District Court ruled to place Mazursky in custody. 7 years later, on 15 January 2016, the accused was extradited from the Geneva international airport to Tver.

The court has sentenced Boris Mazursky to 3 years in a penal settlement.
