Alexander Bastrykin orders finding two defender of child, beat up in Yekaterinburg

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin has ordered the Sverdlovsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee to find two men, who defended a small child, who had been beat up by his father. Surveillance cameras caught the crime on tape, as well as how two passer-bys stood up against angry man.

The boy could’ve died if they wouldn’t interfere. This kind of courage deserves respect. The Chairman has ordered to award these man the departmental awards of the Russian Investigative Committee.

In the evening of 18 April 2017, a drunk man several times hit the head of his 4-year-old son against paveway on the crossing of Krasnykh Komandirov and Kosmonavtov Streets. The Sverdlovsk Region Office of the Investigative Committee launched a probe against 39-year-old man, who was previously convicted, in attempted crime of a child under Part 3 of Article 30 and Part 2 of Article 105 of the RF Penal Code. by investigator’s request, the man was put in custody pending trial.
