In Moscow, former chief technologist of ZAO Perekryostok and her accomplice found guilty of commercial bribery

A court has recognized the evidence collected by the Moscow Office of the Investigative Committee as sufficient to convict former chief gastronomy technologist of ZAO Perekryostok Olga Parinova and her husband Sergei Syromyatnikov. Depending on the role of each of them, they were found guilty of commercial bribery under paragraph Part 4, item “b” of Article 204, Part 5 of Article 33 and attempted commercial bribery under Part 4, item “b” of Article 204 of the RF Penal Code.

The court and investigators have revealed that between May 2014 and 14 September 2015, Parinova and Syromyatnikov, who had also worked in distribution networks, demanded from representatives of companies selling Russian-made food at least 36 million rubles for getting their goods on the shelves of Perekryostok and Karusel supermarkets. On 14 September 2015, the suspects were detained by the police upon getting part of the sum of 3 million rubles.

The court has sentenced Parinova to 6 years and Syromyatnikov to 5 years 6 months in a minimum-security correctional facility.
