Today, the Russian lawyers are celebrating the Lawyer Day commissioned by the order of the Russian President in 2008. The holiday dates back to the times of Emperor Peter the Great. This date unites people of different professions protecting rights and interests of people – investigators and prosecutors, judges and lawyers, and other representatives of the hard, but interesting and versatile profession.

Life of the modern society is hard to imagine without a legal element. Each citizen this way or another faces some problems in their daily life that can only be solved by lawyers, who bear the burden of responsibility for people’s fates. In the modern-time world, lawyers have to have extended knowledge in different social areas and science, understanding of human psychology and creative streak. They also have to stay loyal to the law and professional traditions.
