Following order of the Chairman of the Investigative Committee, first deputy head of the Head Office Yuri Tyutyunnik has met parents of children injured and killed in a traffic accident that happened on 4 December 2016. The meeting was also attended by investigator who is conducting the investigation against former officer of the Bashkiria’s traffic police N. Dergunov, his colleague inspector N. Stepanova and acting chairman of the Nefteyugansk Sports Administration A. Kaberitsky.

Mr. Tyutyunnik heard arguments of the parents and their lawyers regarding the investigation and assured them that the initial probe was thorough and impartial and that all those involved in the crime would be prosecuted.

The investigation is supervised by the Chairman of the Investigative Committee.
