Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to hold probe and initiate transfer of criminal case into violation of housing rights of a person disabled from childhood in Ryazan Region

Today one of the TV programs featured a discussion of a story of a Ryazan orphan disabled from childhood, whose parents died in 2008 and as a result of swindling of his guardian he remained without housing. The relevant probe had been investigated and closed by the police. He was in line for obtaining accommodation as a low-income person but recently the Ryazan City Administration removed him from this line.

Alexander Bastrykin instructed the Ryazan Regional Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia to initiate a transfer from the police of the probe into swindling activities aimed to deprive the young man of housing and to hold a probe into legitimacy and validity of the Administration’s decision to remove him from the line.
