A federal channel reported that a driver stopped in the city of Kirov for a document check with signs of alcohol intoxication resisted police officers.  According to journalists, the local resident refused the traffic police officers' lawful demand to get out of the car, while resisting and using obscene language towards the officers, and also reportedly punched one of them in the arm.

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed the Head of the Kirov Regional Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia Vinogradov A.P. to initiate a criminal case against the driver and report on the circumstances of the incident.
