The Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Saratov region Govorunov A.Yu. to report on the complex of verification activities carried out on the fact of the accident, involving a passenger bus on December 18, 2021.

According to preliminary data, at the intersection of Novozenskaya Street and 2nd Children's Proyezd in the Frunzensky district of Saratov the passenger bus drove off the road and crashed into the cars parked in the yard of an apartment building. Data on the number and severity of injuries are being clarified.

Investigators continue to conduct verification activities aimed at determining all the circumstances of the incident. The progress and results of the investigation, as directed by the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, are under supervision of the Central Office of the agency.
