A Criminal Case on the Fact of the Shelling of the Territory of Rostov Oblast From the Territory of Ukraine Has Been Initiated

The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has initiated a criminal case on the fact of the shelling of the border area of Rostov Oblast by Ukrainian paramilitary groups.

According to the investigation, on February 19, 2022, in the period from 5 to 6 a.m., unidentified persons, being on the territory of Ukraine, used a multiple launch rocket system to shell the border area of Tarasovsky Raion of Rostov Oblast.

There are no casualties among the civilian population; after the territory’s mine clearance, the investigation team began to inspect the scene, the inspection is currently ongoing.

Investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia have initiated a criminal case on the fact of attempted murder committed in a socially dangerous way.
