In connection with the detention of a high-ranking officer of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) by Rosgvardiya in Kiev Oblast, the Chairman of the IC of Russia has instructed the Central Office to conduct a full range of investigative actions and operative measures with this person.

According to Rosgvardiya, the detainee coordinated the work of sabotage and reconnaissance groups of Ukrainian nationalist formations in the north-western areas of Kiev Oblast.

Taking into account the obtained evidence, he will be charged with committing particularly serious crimes. Given the nature of these acts, the investigation intends to petition the court to impose a restriction measure in the form of detention on the defendant.
