Chairman of the Investigative Committee instructs the Investigative Committee of Russia to investigate shell of the Channel One shooting-crew committed by the Ukrainian nationalists in Mariupol

Chairman of the Investigative Committee Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin instructed the Main Investigative Department of the IC of Russia to investigate the injury of the newsmaker of the Channel One Irina Kuksenkova as a result of the shelling of the shooting-crew committed by the nationalists in Mariupol.

According to the available data, the representatives of Russian television crew, during the news-coverage preparation in Mariupol were hit with the shelling from the automatic grenade system AGS-17 committed by the participants of the nationalist formations of Ukraine. As a result,  the newsmaker Irina Kuksenkova received a fragment wound of the leg. After the first aid by the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the injured was hospitalized in the nearest hospital in Donetsk.

A.I. Bastrykin instructed the investigators to hold a full range of procedural actions to document the circumstances of the crime against the representatives of Russian media and to establish all persons involved in this due to their further criminal prosecution.
