The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that during the study of biological samples taken from the Ukrainian soldiers, who voluntarily laid down their arms, traces of highly concentrated antibiotics were found in their blood as well as some immune markers that represent evidence of contact with fever with renal syndrome (HFRS) and the West Nile Fever agents. Both had been studied by the Pentagon within their UP-4 and UP-8 projects in Ukraine.

It was also mentioned, that Russian specialists found documents confirming clinical trials of unregistered pharmaceuticals on residents of Rubezhnoye. In addition, the Department noticed a clear trend: "causative agents of infectious diseases that fall into the zone of interest of the Pentagon continue to spread pandemically, while American pharmaceutical companies and their patrons, the leaders of the US Democratic Party, become the beneficiaries."

All information provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation will be inquired and studied by investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee within the criminal investigation.
