Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, held a brief meeting, where he heard the reports on the progress and schedule of construction work and the material and technical equipment of the building center to accommodate the departmental St. Petersburg Cadet Corps. The meeting was held on the basis of the boarding school for pupils of the IC of Russia, it was attended by: Ms. Elena Yuryevna Garanina, Principal of the St. Petersburg Cadet Corps, acting Principal of the boarding school for pupils of the Russian Investigative Committee of the St. Petersburg Cadet Corps - and officials of departmental educational institutions.
Mr. A.I. Bastrykin asked questions about the deadlines for finalizing the targets set and about the existing pressing problems. Once again he drew attention to the need of careful consideration the compliance of all standards and requirements during construction.
Let's recall that the center will be deployed in Old Peterhof on the territory of the former military hospital. It will include: educational and administrative, sleeping, medical buildings, a gym and a sector of additional education, which are planned to be connected by covered galleries. Also, students will have opportunities for outside sports activities, where gymnastic grounds are equipped. Within the center, all the necessary conditions will be created for teaching students in accordance with educational standards, which will make the educational process as effective as possible.
In addition, the participants of the meeting touched upon the spiritual and patriotic education of cadets, their involvement in volunteer activities, as well as the organization of their leisure and cultural development.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. A.I. Bastrykin gave a number of specific instructions for the comprehensive preparation of departmental educational institutions for the start of the new academic year.
