Today in St. Petersburg, Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation met the management of the State Budgetary Cultural Institution "the St. Petersburg State Academic Capella" - People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of State Prizes of Russia, honorary citizen of St. Petersburg, artistic director of the Capella Mr. Chernushenko Vladislav Alexandrovich , as well as with the Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Board of the Union of Concert Organizations, Executive Director Ms.Khomova Olga Sergeevna and with the Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation Mr. Vitaly Konstantinovich Lavrov, who headed the St. Petersburg State Capella over than 20 years.

During the meeting, Mr. Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin and the mananagement officials of the Capella discussed the current and future interaction between the IC and cultural institutions, aimed at creating conditions for increasing civic responsibility, strengthening the sense of belonging to the great history and culture of Russia, ensuring the continuity of generations, preserving and increasing moral, cultural and scientific values ​​of society, ensuring and strengthening the traditions of Russian statehood, the diversity of forms of artistic creativity and cultural innovation.

The Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee thanked the staff of the Capella for their significant contribution in the field of cultural and educational activities, and also recalled that this year Russia celebrates an important historical date - the anniversary of the Emperor of All Russia Peter I. Commemorative medals "350 years since the birth of Peter I" were presented.

At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed joint programs and educational projects in the field of cultural and educational activities, holding joint commemorative and anniversary events, developing various forms of support and realizing the creative potential of students in educational establishments of the Investigative Committee of Russia.
