The media published a story about the three-year lasting history of the dispute between the owners of apartments in Kirovsky raion of St. Petersburg and the local service-management Company. Residents complained that ZhKS-1 (housing and utilities sector) deceives them and raises tariffs. It was reported that the tenants have repeatedly tried to change the management Company, but to no success. According to the owners, the Company's management falsifies the protocols of meetings.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Ms. Parastaeva M.G., Acting Head of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for St. Petersburg, to report on the current problematic situation, including the measures taken by the Law Enforcement Agencies of St. Petersburg to resolve the situation.
The execution of the order is a subject to control in the Main Investigative Directorate of the Department.
