On November 7, 2022, information appeared on the Internet that in the Chernyakhovsk city, a widow and a mother of many children was evicted from temporary public housing for the utility bills debts. It was reported that in October 2019 the house of the mentioned above family burned down, the Municipal Authorities provided the woman with temporary accomodation, promising to restore the burned-out living space by the end of 2020. However, as it was stated in the publication, the burnt-out dwelling has not been repaired to date, the mother of many children has to invest in construction, and therefore is unable to pay utility bills. The Investigating Authorities of the Investigative Directoraste of the Investigative Committee of Russia are conducting an inspection.
The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructed Mr. Bocharov D.A., Head of the Regional Investigative Directorate, to report on the situation. The inspection and its resultas are the subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Department.
