Mr. A.I. Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, instructed Mr. Lipalo A.V., Head of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Adygea, to submit a report on the progress of the criminal investigation launched on the fact of the use of violence against a Representative of the Authorities.

On November 04, 2022, at about midnight, a man ran over the Inspectors of the Patrol Service of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Maikop city, it was his response to legal demands to present the ID documents. The crime happenned on Gertsen Street of the Maikop city, the man was driving a car, the Patrol Service Officers were on duty on their patrolling route. As a result of the deliberate actions of the suspect, one of the Police Officers received bodily injuries.

On the mentioned above, the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Adygea launched a criminal case in accordance with Part 1, Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

The criminal investigation is a subject to control in the Main Directorate of the Department.
