The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia instructs to launch a criminal investigation on the brutal killing of a paralyzed retiree by Ukrainian nationalists in the Lugansk People's Republic

From the message of the Adviser to the Head of the LPR on the air of one of the Federal TV Channels, it became known that during the Russian special operation the militants of the Ukrainian Territorial Defense Battalion "Chernigov" publicly executed a paralyzed pensioner, a resident of the village of Voronovo, controlled by Kiev at the time of the crime. The reason for the crime was described as follows: children of the victim were sent to the LPR's militia in 2014. The retiree was beaten in front of his neighbors, and then he was shot dead. In addition, after committing the murder, the militants did not allow the man to be buried and abused over his body. The actions of Ukrainian nationalists against the civilian population are comparable to the crimes of the German fascists during the Great Patriotic War.

Investigators of the Russian Investigative Committee will document and investigate the mentioned above information, and the actions of all involved individuals will be legally assessed within the criminal investigations on the crimes of the Kiev regime.
