A shocking incident of unlawful actions against a resident of the Tver region has sparked widespread outrage on social media platforms. According to several published posts, the victim, who has a disability and limited mobility, was attacked and had food items stolen.

The investigative authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Tver region have organized an inquiry into this incident. In addition, officers from the regional investigative department have initiated the transfer of the criminal case, which was initially opened by the police, into their jurisdiction.

The head of the department has instructed the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Tver region A.A. Kizimov to submit a report on the progress of the investigation and the established circumstances.
