On June 11, in Ufa, a facade lift carrying workers fell from the height of the seventh floor. As a result of the sustained injuries, two men, aged 43 and 22, died at the scene. Two more workers were hospitalized, one of whom subsequently died despite receiving medical assistance.

The investigative authorities of the regional Investigative Committee of Russia have opened a criminal case on this fact on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 216 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of safety regulations during construction or other works, resulting in the accidental death of three persons).

The head of the department has instructed V. V. Arkhangelsky, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Bashkortostan, to submit a report on the progress of the criminal investigation and the established circumstances.
