Young investigators of the regional investigative department took the oath in the hero city of Novorossiysk

On this momentous day, young investigators from various regions and cities of the the Krasnodar Territory solemnly took the Oath of an Employee of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the presence of Andrei Konstantinovich Maslov, the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory.

The solemn event, specifically scheduled to coincide with the celebration of Russia Day, took place at the Novorossiysk Naval Base of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Navy, which for over 100 years now has been a symbol of the maritime gateway of southern Russia. The honored guests of such a significant event included the commander of the Novorossiysk military garrison, Rear Admiral V.N. Kochemazov, the head of the city of Novorossiysk, A.V. Kravchenko, veterans of the investigative authorities, and honorary residents of the hero city. The ceremony was also attended by employees of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia the Krasnodar Territory, participants of the special military operation, military personnel of the Navy of the Russian Federation and members of the Youth Army.

Before the start of the ceremony, the attendees observed a minute of silence in memory of the defenders of our Motherland, who, in times of severe trials, stood up to defend the Motherland and gave their lives fighting for the future of our people during the Great Patriotic War and the special military operation.

In his welcoming speech, A.K. Maslov, the head of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory, emphasized that fulfilling the duty of protecting the rights and freedoms of citizens in the bodies of the Investigative Committee requires each member to unconditionally devote themselves to serving the Law. The head of the department wished the young employees to be firm, courageous and loyal to the Oath they had taken, to have success in their professional activities, and to successfully accomplish all the tasks assigned to the authorities of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

On this day, the words of the Oath sounded movingly voiced by twenty young investigators of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnodar Territory, who, in the presence of their comrades, leadership and honored guests, made a sacred vow of loyalty to the Law, the people, and the Motherland. Taking the oath at the Novorossiysk Naval Base—a place of heroic glory of the Black Sea Fleet sailors, who have throughout the history played an important role in the country's security and border protection—will forever remain a special moment in the memory of the young investigators.

Heartfelt words of guidance and congratulations were offered by the guests of the event, who noted that the Investigative Committee is renowned for the most important thing: justice and protection of ordinary citizens from any encroachments and attacks. The young investigators of the regional department will undoubtedly become uncompromising fighters against any violations of the law, regardless of who commits them.
