Thanks to the help of Russian IC investigators the USA national found guilty of crime against sexual inviolability of a Russian boy

As a result of a joint work of the Russian Investigative Committee and the USA investigative authorities the evidence collected was recognized by the US Pennsylvania Eastern District court as sufficient to convict Kenneth Schneider. He was found guilty of a crime committed in the Russian Federation against sexual inviolability of an underage Russian boy.

The investigation and court have established that in 1998, being the president of The Apogee Foundation aimed to help gifted young artists, Schneider came to Moscow and under the pretext of helping the young talent in 2001, committed sexual violation over a 12-year old student of The Moscow State Choreography Academy.

In the framework of the U.S. investigative authorities’ request of legal assistance, the Russian Investigative Committee detectives conducted an extensive work to locate and question the witnesses, receive documents necessary for the inquiry, as well as to organize their arrival to participate in the hearings in Philadelphia, USA.

The court sentenced Schneider to 15 years in jail and ordered $35,000 in restitution to his victim, and a fine $20,000 to the state. This is the maximum penalty for the crime of this group in the USA.
