Military Investigation Department of the SK Investigative Committee for Voronezh garrison has launched a check into the death of Deputy Commander of the North Caucasus Regional Headquarters of the Interior Forces of the Russian Interior Ministry Major-General Mikhail Voznesensly.

It was preliminary found out from the files passed by the investigative bodies of the RF Investigative Committee for Voronezh region that the Major-General Voznesensky was driving his own car on the way back from vacation. At night, some 230 km away from Voronezh, the major-general’s car crashed into another automobile. The accident resulted in unsustainable injuries. The circumstances are being specified.

The procedural decision will be taken upon the results of the check.
