Check into private plane crash near Seltso village of Volosovsky district of Leningrad region

On 22 November 2011, a woman from Begunitsy village of Leningrad region came to the Volosovsky district hospital with bruises of different degree. The woman told that she had got into road accident on a highway Saint-Petersburg – Narva. However, after checking this information the detectives found that there was no road accident on 22 November 2011, but a plane crash – a private double plane presumably produced in the Czech Republic, was travelling from an airfield of the air club “Gauda” in Seltso village of Volosovsky district of Leningra region. As a result of the crash, the plane was slightly damaged, a pilot and the woman-passenger applied for medical help in Leningrad hospital. North-Western Transport Investigation Department of the Russian Investigative Committee is carrying out a check into the accident.

For the present, witnesses have been found and questioned. Today the detectives of North-Western Transport Investigation Department are going to take one more look at the plane and scene. A procedure decision will be taken on the results of the check.
