On 22 May 2012, a roof collapsed under gusty wind in one of the buildings on Kirov street, Belogorsk of the Amur region, injuring a 31-year old woman and a 2-year old child. At the moment the injured are being treated.

The Amur region investigative bodies of the Russian Investigative Committee are undertaking a pre-investigative check into the incident. A procedural decision will be made after the check.
