Criminal case initiated in Moscow over slaying a man in restaurant “Bakinsky bulvar”

On May 18, 2012, at about 1 a.m. in the restaruand “Bakinsky bulvar” at Neverovsky Street an unknown person shot a Georgia native Koba Manasherashvili. The man was wounded in the chest and died on the spot. Alas Magometove was also wounded and rushed into hospital.

A criminal cease was opened over these incidents, on the signs of the crimes under part 1 of article 105, part 3 of article 30, paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 105 of the Russian Federation Criminal Code (murder, attempt to murder, illegal acquisition of arms).

According to the investigators, there had been a conflict in the restaurant between two companies which then developed into a brawl with gunshots. Consequently, one of the men was killed and another one wounded and taken to hospital with a gunshot wound.

At present, investigative actions are underway to establish all circumstances of the incident. The investigation is to be continued.
