The body of Vice-Consular (born 1975) of Norway Consulate General was found in the morning of May 21 in one of the lodgings on Gorokhovaya Street in Saint Petersburg with no signs of violent death. The Saint Petersburg investigative bodies of the Russian Investigative Committee are undertaking a pre-investigation check into the incident.

At present the check is undertaken to establish all the circumstances of the incident. A procedural decision will be made after the check.
