In Tula region 21-year-old to appear in court for killing five including three minors

The Tula Region investigative bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have finished investigation of a criminal case against a 21-year-old Tula resident Ivan Ivanchenko charged with crimes under paragraphs “a, c, j” of part 2 of article 105 (murder of two or more people, murder of a person who is known by the killer to be in helpless state, committed with the purpose of concealing another crime), paragraph “c” of part 2 of article 158 of the RF Criminal Code (theft with the infliction of considerable damage to a person).

According to investigators, at night of 25 July 2011 Ivanchenko being in the flat of his female friend in Tula, because of personal dislike hit her many times with a hammer on the head and neck and the woman died at once. In order to conceal this crime the accused hit with the hammer the mother of a woman and her three sleeping sons aged 9, 6 and 5, inflicting deathly injuries.

Having made sure that all of them are dead, to conceal the crime traces the accused piled the bodies in the bathroom and took out the murder weapon and objects with traces of blood.

After the murder Ivanchenko stole from the flat property worth over 30,000 rubles and disposed of it in his own interests.

Investigators have collected enough evidence therefore the criminal case with the approved indictment is sent to the court to be tried on the merits.
