The investigating bodies of the Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are investigating a criminal case opened over an attack on a woman making up a crime under part 3 of article 30, paragraph “b” of part 2 of article 131 of the RF Penal Code (attempted rape), paragraph “b” of part 2 of article 132 (sexual abuse). Yesterday law enforcement agents detained suspect Nariman Ibragimov born in 1984.

According to investigators, on 24 April 2014, at about 10:30 PM, he attacked a 43-year-old woman in the woods near Yablochkov Street, hit her no fewer than 10 times on her head and sexually abused her.

Investigating operations necessary to find out all the circumstances of the crime are underway. In the near future investigators are going to press the charges and file a motion to place him in custody.
