Charges brought against head of Miass town district

Investigators of the main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s investigative Committee in Moscow have brought charges against head of Miass town district administration Viktor Ardabyevsky with crimes under paragraphs “a”, “g” and “h” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of two persons committed by an organized group out of mercenary motives) and part 2 of article 209 (membership in a stable armed group (gang).

Arbadyevsky was charged within the investigation of a criminal case against the members of a stable armed group, who committed over 40 serious and especially serious crimes in Moscow and Moscow Region, Rostov and Chelyabinsk regions and Krasnodar Territory in the period between 1999 and 2011.

According to investigators Arbadyevsky was a member of Turbazovskiye gang and involved in murders of businessmen Andrey Paduchin and Pavel Sidorov committed in Miass in 2005 and 2008.

Today the investigators are going to ask the court to remand the accused in custody pending the trial. Investigation is ongoing.
