Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s investigative Committee continues investigating a criminal case against Orkhan Zeynalov, who was detained on 15 October 2013 on suspicion of murdering Yegor Shcherbakov. Today Zeynalov has been charged with a murder out of hooliganism (paragraph “i” of part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code) in the presence of an interpreter in a pretrial detention center of the Moscow Main Office of the Russia’s Interior Ministry.

According to investigators Zeynalov does not admit the guilt in the crime and if earlier he said that it was he who stabbed Yegor Shcherbakov at night of 10 October 2013 in Vostryakovsky Proyezd, today he has said that he had never been at the crime scene and did not commit the crime. Even so, the investigators have enough evidence and data on Zeynalov’s involvement in the crime, which were put in the basis of the charges.

The investigation is ongoing.
