Investigators go on working at blast scene in Volgograd

At present moment the investigators and criminologists of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are working in the bus, where the blast happened. According to the latest data, the blast killed 6 people and suspected suicide bomber Naida Asiyalova.

According to preliminary data, investigators believe that it was Asiyalova, a Dagestani national born in 1982, who set off unidentified explosives. According to investigators' information, the woman wearing a hijab got on the bus at one of the bus stops and the explosion rocked almost immediately after. This information has been confirmed by one of the passengers who survived.

During these minutes the investigators carry on examining the scene. They are also questioning the eyewitnesses and the survived passengers, have seized and are studying videos from CCTV cameras. The investigators have already fixed a number of forensic expert examinations, the results of which will help to find all the circumstances of the attack, they will tell the type and power of the explosive device and help to identify the victims.

As of the injured, in accordance with the information we have at present moment, 33 people have sought medical aid, 28 of them have been hospitalized, including 8 have been sent to resuscitation department. A lot of the injured are in a very grave condition.
