Investigators of the Russia’s Investigative Committee are already working at the scene and conducting a detailed examination. Basically there is only a framework left of the trolleybus with no roof. Moreover, the explosion was so powerful that it shattered windows in a five-story building opposite the scene. And now we can preliminary say that the explosive device was set off by a male suicide-bomber, whose body’s fragments were seized and sent for DNA tests.

According to preliminary information the power of the explosive device was no less than 4 kilograms of TNT. Like the explosive devise set off at the railway station this one was staffed with shrapnel. As both devices had identical shrapnel, this confirms the version that the two attacks are linked. It is possible that they might have been plotted at one and the same place.

At present the investigators keep seizing the evidence and sending them to analysis.

According to more accurate information 14 people were killed in the explosion and 28 more were taken to hospitals. The investigators believe that time and place of the attack were chosen on purpose, as in mornings a lot of people including students of nearby universities usually take this trolleybus near Kachinsky market.
