Alexander Bastrykin holds personal reception of citizens in Moscow

Alexander Bastrykin held a personal reception of citizens in the Russia’s Investigative Committee on 13 November 2013. The chairman received 28 citizens of Moscow city, Moscow, Volgograd, Vladimir, Kaliningrad, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Samara regions, Krasnodar Territory, republics of Tatarstan and Mari-El.

The most of complaints addressed to Mr. Bastrykin during the personal reception concerned procedural decisions made over criminal cases in proceedings at the investigating bodies of the Russia’s Investigative Committee in the said regions. The citizens also complained about decisions made by investigators, personnel of bodies of internal affairs, improper prosecution oversight.

In addition two citizens thanked the personnel of the Russia’s Investigative Committee.

During the reception, which started at 11:06 AM and lasted till 08:20 PM, all citizens were received. Following the personal reception Mr. Bastrykin gave explicit orders to heads of a number of territorial investigating bodies. Progress of reviewing all accepted complaints and applications is under personal control of the Chairman.
