In Moscow Georgy Martirosyan found guilty of killing three women, robbery and illegal drug dealing

A court has recognized the evidence gathered by Moscow Main Investigation Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee sufficient to convict Georgy Martirosyan. He was found guilty of crimes under part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of two or more persons, four counts of the crime under article 162 (robbery) and article 228 (illegal drug dealing).

According to investigators, Martirosyan, who called himself a private-practicing hereditary magician and healer, had a website in the Internet advertising services of that kind with the most popular one – a rite for increasing the money. On 21 September 2011 hear dead body was found in a flat in Krasnaya Presnya in Moscow. The victims in the second count, a 38-year-old woman and her 21-year-old daughter had arrived in Moscow from Krasnodar and were going to by a flat in the city. Their bodies were found in a flat in Nizhegorodskaya Street in Moscow on 20 January 2012. The content of the drug in their blood was much higher than a fatal dose. Acting this way, the man stole some jewelry and money worth over 6.5 million rubles.

The court sentenced Martirosyan to 23 years in a maximum-security penal colony. Besides, the court satisfied the victims’ civil action for moral damages of 15 million rubles and exacted from Martirosyan about 8 million rubles of material damage.
