The Smolensk Region Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has been providing charitable and other social aid to Smolensk special (remedial) school of I and II types since 2008. Investigators have been involved in the life of children hard of hearing, have been providing financial assistance on voluntary basis and taken part in school celebrations.

The last school bell rang at school on 23 May 2014 and as the tradition goes, officials of the Investigations Directorate at the solemn assembly congratulated the students on the end of school year and graduates on starting new adult life and gave them presents.
