In Khabarovsk Territory criminal investigation started in light plane Aeroprakt A-22 crash

The investigating bodies of the Far Eastern transport Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee have launched a criminal investigation into crash of an Aeroprakt A-22 superlight plane in the Khabarovks Territory killing 2 people, as containing signs of a crime under part 1 of article 109 of the RF Penal Code (reckless homicide).

According to investigators, the superlight plane Aeroprakt A-22 hull number RА 0080 А took off about 09:15 PM on 2 June 2014 from the airfield in the village of Kalinka, Khabarovsk Territory, crashed and was found early in the morning on 3 June 2014 in the Amursk District, Khabarovsk Territory near the Tunguska river. There were two people aboard. They were killed in the crash.

An investigating team has been set up to investigation the crash.

At present the investigators are establishing the circumstances of the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
