Today Chairman of the Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin after examining the Falcon jet crash scene at Vnukovo airport, held a briefing with the investigative team and representatives of all services involved in the investigation.

After hearing investigators and colleagues from other agencies, Mr. Bastrykin made a decision to pass the case on to the Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee for further investigation. Investigators and criminalists of the Investigative Committee Central Office, who have extensive experience in inquiring into plane crashes, will join the investigation.
