Former Head of Judicial Department Moscow office and his three accomplices charged with fraud
The Main Investigation Directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation charged Former Head of the Moscow office of the Judicial Department Vyacheslav Lipezin, his deputy Lyubov Lopatina and former deputy Igor Kudryavtsev, as well as Director General of "Rabikon" OOO Umar Zarobekov with committing an offense under part 4 of article 159 of the RF Penal Code (fraud).
According to investigators, the top managers of OOO Rabikon submitted forged resolutions of courts of justice on paying for a translator’s services in Moscow Office of Court Department of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation, which resulted in stealing in 2014 over 300 million rubles from the federal budget. It should be noted that Zarobekov and Kudryavtsev, who previously served as Lipezin's deputy and now is an employee of "Rabikon" OOO were preparing and transferring those documents. In turn, Lipezin and Lopatina, using their official positions, were responsible for the payment of those bills without proper verification and the transfer of funds to the accounts of the company.
All four defendants have been remanded in custody. A set of investigation operations aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the crime is currently underway. The criminal investigation is ongoing.
