The information on the alleged refusal of plaintiff’s claims to former head of property relations department of the Defense Ministry Vasilyeva spread in the mass media is not true. In fact the claims are being specified due to the fact that the cost of 100% of shares of the 31^st State Project Special Construction Institute has been returned during the probe.

All the rest of the claims to Vasilyeva and other defendants are the same equaling to almost a billion rubles. That doesn’t mean that the damage caused by the crime becomes smaller – it stays the same, namely, 3 billion rubles. The accused has nothing to do with the recovery of over 2 billion rubles to the state so the fact does not affect the charges in anyway. She is still charged with grand stealing committed by an organized group. The exaction has to be made in favor of companies owned by the Ministry of Defense among others, which suffered the direct damage.

I would like to stress once more that the Investigative Committee has done its work in full, collected the evidence proving involvement of Vasilyeva and other defendants in a series of crimes and sent the case in court. I see the distorted information leaked to the mass media as the last attempt to have psychological effect on the public and judges, who are going to make their decision in the near future.
