Fourth suspect of killing homeless detained in Moscow

Moscow Main Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee continues investigation in a crime under part 2 of article 105 of the RF Penal Code (murder of two or more people).

As a result of efficient investigative and search operations investigators and police operatives have detained Artur Nartsissov, 22.

According to investigators, the suspect met Pavel Voytov, Yelena Lobacheva and Vlad Karatayev in the internet. In the period between July 2014 and February 2015, the latter killed homeless and alcohol addicted people in Moscow. They did it in deserted places mainly at nighttime. Voytov committed 7 killings, four of which involved Lobacheva, Karatayev took part in one of the murders. According to Voytov, he wanted to “clean” the city. Nartsissov learned about their activity and decided to take part in the so called “purge”. The investigators have revealed that he was involved in an attempted murder of a street cleaner.

Earlier following the request of investigators a court has ruled to place Voytov, Lobacheva, Karatayev and Nartsissov in custody pending trial.

The investigation is ongoing.
