The Novosibirsk Region Investigations Directorate of the Russia’s Investigative Committee has launched a pre-investigating check following a complaint from Mr. Nikiforov claiming that he did not get his money from the regional office of PARNAS party for collecting signatures of voters.

It is preliminarily known that Nikiforov had concluded a contract with the election association of the party’s regional office, under which he had to collect signatures during a campaign in Novosibirsk. The man claims that he did not get the sum under the contract. During the check the investigators are also going to see if PARNAS party had submitted forged subscription lists in order to take part in the elections to the Novosibirsk Region Legislation Assembly.

If the fact of forged documents is confirmed, a procedural decision will be taken to open a criminal case over a crime under article 142 of the RF Penal Code – forgery of election documents.
